This Week

Today we worked on being able to manipulate some of our new science tools and use them properly. Using these tongs to safely move the test tubes in the rack is a great fine motor skill, where children also work on hand eye coordination and patience.
Some of the children also used the droppers to experiment with color and what adding water or drops of different colors did to their mixtures.
“Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment” (Dr. Maria Montessori)
