This Week

The Enep’ut Preschoolers have been working a lot on art this past week. They have really enjoyed painting. We’ve painted with bubbles, water colors, fingers, q-tips and regular paint brushes.
By exploring several different open ended art activities, we are giving the children a voice of their own, the chance to express themselves and the power to be in control, while giving them a sense of self confidence and freedom.
Art works on their social skills while they learn to communicate and take turns with different color brushes. They learn proper cleaning techniques. They build cognitive skills such as color recognition, shape recognition and visual thinking.
